The Bluefin provides respectful memorial services for the scattering of ashes at sea, allowing up to six family members and friends to participate. These services typically last two hours or more, depending on the desired location, and adhere to regulations requiring a minimum three-nautical-mile transit from shore. Our large deck offers ample space for a private and comfortable memorial. Following the service, we provide a memorial certificate and the GPS coordinates of the scattering location. For those who prefer a more private option, we offer unattended ash scatterings, which can be observed from the Yaquina Bay Lighthouse.
