The Bluefin is a 32ft. , 1969 "Rawson" built to commercial fishing standards by Ron Rawson Inc. in Kirkland Washington . For many years she was part of the charter fishing fleet in Ilwaco Washington before moving to Newport Oregon in 2021. She is an extremely seaworthy boat designed for a comfortable ride even in a rough ocean. She boasts a very reliable Cummins 6BTA power plant, spacious aft deck, and comfortable all weather cabin, equipped with a private , standup head (restroom), with full seating for all passengers. The Bluefin is stocked with high quality tackle for every trip we offer, which includes electric reels for those deep drop trips for long leader Rockfish and Halibut. Safety gear includes a full compliment of equipment including self deploying liferaft, 2 VHF radios, Offshore lifejackets and comfortable automatically inflatable lifejackets for all passengers and crew. We have state-of-the-art Furuno and Garmin Radar, Chartplotters and Sonar. There is a live bait tank on board as well as a large fish hold and plenty of ice!
